Installing an Antennas
Installing a TV Antennas on your roof can be a difficult task, but it’s important that it’s done correctly to ensure the best possible reception. At AADT Antennas, we have 27 years of experience installing TV Antennas on rooftops and have developed a proven process to ensure a successful installation.
The first step in our process is to assess the location of the roof and determine the best placement, not only for Antennas reception, but also for the visual impact on your home, as the Antennas should not be the centre of attention on a beautiful home. Consideration must be given to the direction the Antennas must face to receive the desired signals, and what obstructions might block the signal.
Once we determine the best location for the Antennas, we begin the installation process. This involves attaching the Antenna to the roof with a series of galvanised brackets, screws, and silicone, making sure it is secure. We also run a coaxial cable from the antenna to the TV, usually through the roof space into the living area. Once the Antennas and cable are in place, we perform a thorough test of the system to ensure it is working properly and providing a strong, stable signal to ensure optimal performance.
