27 years. AADT Antennas completed its first satellite dish installing project at the Wollongong Spanish club in February 1996. This gave the Spanish community in the Illawarra the opportunity to view live TV direct from TVE Spain and the European Bouquet on Asia Sat 2. It was the first commercial installation in Australia.

AADT Antenna offers a wide range of repair and installation work for our customers. Some of the most common faults to arise are (no satellite signal being received) this can be due to a dish being knocked offline or strong winds moving the dish. A satellite dish to work correctly has to be set with a satellite meter/signal finder.

Blocked satellite signals from obstructions such as trees, buildings, or temporary fixtures such as scaffolding would generally require the dish to be re-sited. Sometimes to overcome an obstruction the dish may need to be located on a chimney to gain a satellite signal, this is something that general installers do not undertake, however, an independent company/engineer would be able to do this as they carry their own liability insurance.
